Instruction will be from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with a lunch / recess hour at noon. Students should bring lunch. Students may be dropped off at Brownell-Talbot as early as 8:00 am and picked up as late as 4:30 pm. Chess practice will be available during this time.
Students will study middle game tactics, positional themes, checkmates, opening ideas and endgame techniques. Students will also learn chess notation, play notated games and have these games analyzed. A tournament will be held on Friday.
Omaha Chess Camp
